Bear Son
My son is going to be 2 in a few weeks and he has this bear that sings take me out to the ball game.?
Well everytime my son hears the bear sing that song or even if I sing it he gets upset. How can I help him from not getting upset? Pleas help I dont want this to ruin our trips to any baseball games in the future.
Take the batteries out so the bear won’t sing anymore, and don’t sing the song yourself. He doesn’t like it, so there’s no reason to push it. He’ll outgrow it. My son is 3 and he had a lot of songs he hated at 2, and it’s not unusual to hear him walking around singing the same songs now. If you push the issue though, by playing and singing the song when you know he doesn’t like it, you’ll make it into a power struggle and that’s not good.
Don’t worry about future baseball games, even if he still hates the songs, I’m sure he’ll enjoy the game.
