El Monje Machete, 14′ blade, 5′ handle. History?
We’ve recently recieved an ‘El Monje’ machete from a yard sale. It depicts a monk reading a Bible at the very base of the blade. We’ve searched but have found no information regarding this particular type of machete apart form an old e-bay page. The blade is 14′ long and tarnished, but renewable. Any information regarding the history (producers, place of origin, etc.) and value of the blade would be appreciated, thank you.
