Bone Mini
My 10 week old puppy swallowed a mini dingo bone 2 days ago. Vet said to watch her. Will it pass?
We went to the emergency vet but at that point nothing they can do and to watch for vomiting, etc. She eats regularly and constantly plays. This mornng she dry heaved a few times but never threw up. I put her out side, she went to the bathroom (no sign of bone or blood), then she ate breakfast. Am I out of the clear?
Dumb question but how will I know when it passes?
actually, u probably r out of the clear now, but dont stop watching her,
the only thing i know of that doesnt disolve or break down in a dog, is poultry bones, i went through this with a 10 week old american bull dog i never saw bone or blood, now he’s almost 90 pounds….
p.s.- the dry heaving is normal, my vet said it was usaully clearing its throat, kinda like when we humans cough or clear our throats!
