Burnt Oat
Can someone try this recipe?
I have been told I am a good cook for a fifteen year old and I have a few GREAT sandwich recipes for vegetarians. Please try them and email me if you like them, would like more, or have any suggestions.
S.L.A.T sandwich:
Honey oat bread, safeway brand
A tomato
A package of Morning star striplets
An avacado
Lettuce
Mustard
And mayo
1. Toast your bread then put a thin layer of mustard and mayo on one of the slices.
2. Cook your striplets in the microwave until crispy, not burnt!
3. Slice your vegetables
4. Place them on the bread and serve with salad
Famouse grilled cheese:
MUST HAVE A NON STICK PAN!
Butter, stick
Cheese, prefered: Colby jack or medium cheddar, sliced.
Mustard
Mayo
Tomato
So I put all of my ingridents on the bread and cook it on the non stick pain. It always turns out amazing.

i have made a similar sandwich to both only minus an ingredient here and there….
your S.L.A.T. sandwich sounds like my B.T.C.= Bacon, Tomato, Cheese, i use pepperjack cheese, then cook it the same way with butter on the outside of the bread. I don’t think i would like avacados or mustard on it, i do use the mayo though.
The Famous grilled cheese…again i’d have to say no to the mustard, although i LOVE mustard ginormously, it just doesn’t go too well on my stomach with the cheese. But i will try adding the tomato to it. I make mine with american cheese, mayo, butter and wheat bread. First time i made one for a friend of mine (who is 17 now) he couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t dry like his mom makes…..i had to snicker at that.
After he ate it, i showed him how i made it. It was the mayo, she didn’t use mayo. So now he makes his own, i lived with him and his family for 2 years, and ended up teaching him how to cook better than his mom…..
