Chain Folding
What is the gear range of the iF Mode folding bike? How does it compare with other folding bikes?
I just saw a internet ad on the IF(integrated folding) Mode folding bike.
Yes I know it is pricey (about $2250) but I can not seem to find information on gear range and such.
It has an enclosed chain drive so it is either a single speed or some hub drive. In either case from what I have been able to search for it has not given any gearing information.
It could be that this is a flat land city bike or it could be much more than that.
Do any of you have experience with this or other folding bikes.?
How would you compare this with other folding bikes?
It looks like a really nice bike but is it worth the $2250 or are there better folding bikes for the buck?
It is already on my drool list of things I can not afford or justify yet.
The bike is a single speed with a 27 tooth chain ring and a 12 tooth freewheel. Top speed at 90 rpm’s will be around 14.5 mph
