remington 700 vs winchester 70 vs browning a bolt?
1m 15 and i have decided to buy my first rifle. Id like a 30-06 but i dont know whether to go remington, winchester, or browning. If i was to get the remington id buy a modell 700 cdl. With winchester a model 70 either a featherweight or sporter, and if i got a browning it would be an a bolt hunter or a bolt medallion. Can you guys give me advice on which one would be best for hunting? And dont suggest a synthetic stock because i appreciate the beuty of the rifle as far as the color of the wood, the finish, checkering, and i love when the bolt is jeweled, thats my favorite detail in a rifle.Tell me which model and which type to get.
im 15 also and bought my first gun at 13 which was a remington 700 243 which was excelant for the price. i still use it today for coyotes but i had to get rid of the 243 so i bought a remington 7400 30 06 semi auto and i love it. i heard the browning was a helluva gun but for the money i would go the 700..but make sure you dont by the model 7. they were a mass producton POS
