is he a jerk or just not creative???for my birthday!?!?
I’ve been seeing my boyfriend who’s 27 for a year now and we live together. I’m 26. My b-day is in a couple of weeks and its two days after 4th of July so we’re going to be busy. He said if we don’t do anything that weekend or Monday for my birthday, definately the next weekend. He said he knows what he wants to get me, I asked he told. He wants to get me two gift cards…Lame right?
If we live together I would think he would be paying attention to who I am and what I like…And gift cards don’t fit the bill…All I asked of him was to get a card, that way I am not disappointed..I guess I just expect more since I’ve given so much to him: money to build his chopper, paid for his dog’s vet bills, I pay all the bills and rent, make his lunch, do his laundry and fold it, make sure our home is always clean, tidy and picked up. I don’t nag or bitch at him…So I guess I’m thinking he’s just doing the minimal so he doesn’t ‘get in trouble’….What do you guys think?
