Copperhead Knife
October 12th, 2007

How do you get snake venom off a knife blade?
just that, killed a copperhead with my Ka-Bar and now I need to make sure it doesnt have any of the venom left on it. We cooked it and ate it, tasted mighty good.
the knife cost about $65 and is new, its not getting thrown out. I was told to wash it in bleach water and then put fire to it, but I just wanted more opinions.
you ate a copperhead? hmm, I’ve eaten rattle snake lots of times. wouldnt eat a water moccasin though, they stink to high heaven. try washing your knife, im sure the venom is water soluable.
