New John Deere JS46 problem(s)?
I JUST got home from purchasing a brand new John Deere JS46 push mower. I bought the pre-assembled one (stupid me). Well, while I was putting it in the shed, I noticed that the drive cable had a small “kink” type area (my guess is that this was caused by the person who assembled it at the store). By the looks of it, I don’t think that it’s the actual wire/cable, it’s the wire loom (metal). I just spent quite a bit of money on this thing. My question is this…I haven’t even ran it yet, but, when I do, is it going to make a huge, if any, difference in the way that the mower runs/drives (RWD)? I really don’t feel like loading it back up in my car, BUT, if that issue would cause the slightest problem(s), then I’ll do it first thing in the morning. I’d appreciate any help. Thanks!
Go by the store where your mower was purchased and look at another
JS46 on display. If the drive cables are not the same. Go back home get your receipt and load the mower and take it back for an exchange or refund.A reputable dealer will gladly work with you.If not get the refund
and go to another dealer.I prefer dealing with a John Deere dealer when
I get my lawn tractor.
