Tubal Ligation Reversal
If you’ve had your tubes surgically tied, and you would like to conceive, the only way to have a baby other than IVF is by having a tubal ligation reversal.
Tubal ligation is a surgical procedure that permanently sterilizes women, and involves surgically closing the fallopian tubes, in order to prevent an egg from being fertilized by sperm.
While tubal ligation is a simple procedure, the reversal is more complicated. The surgeon essentially cuts away the parts of the fallopian tube that is fused together in order to open it, and then reconnects it using microsurgical techniques.
