Im 13 years old, is it legal for me to carry a knife under 3 inches long in public?
I live in California and i was wonder if it is legal for me to carry a Kershaw DWO Classic Knife 3000 which blade length is 2 3/8 inches long and closed length is 3 1/4 inches long in public
That’s a nice little knife. Anyways, yes it’s legal to for you to carry here in California. California doesn’t have a size limitation on folding knives, unless it’s an auto. Although, you might want to check with your local laws because some counties/cities have their own muni code regarding knives. I believe LA doesn’t allow any folders at all over 2 inches.
