your question reminded me of this one I had heard many years ago, what is the black stuff between elephants toes? slow natives. one more, and it is a two part joke, why do ducks have flat webbed feet? so they can stomp out fires. why do elephants have big flat feet? so they can stomp out flaming ducks.
