Why would anyone vote for Rudy?
The IAFF blames him for many of the firefighters who died in the north WTC tower!
He only went down to the WTC on 911 for the photo op it presented!
Why didn’t he use his secured Bunker in WTC 7 before the towers fell?
Sorry Jade….but the fact he was in the street instead of his bunker before the towers collapsed says otherwise……….Why didn’t he use his secured bunker?
Because he was there when the country came together in unwavering support for one another. Because somehow with funds and volunteers pouring in from every direction he was able to get New York back on its feet. He was on TV and on the radio when people needed a leader, and he said all the right things.
The thing is, it’s EASY to look good after a tragedy. All you have to do is tell people that you care about them and that you’ll do what you can to support their recovery. Any political leader who is not a cold-hearted coward would step up to the challenge and form a bond with the people he leads. Rudy did nothing special, he did what any leader would have done. And in the aftermath as soon as the public eye began to shift, he really didn’t put enough time and effort into things like public health and picking through the rubble as quickly as possible to find anyone who survived.
He’s another typical showman politician. He’ll tell you anything you want to hear, and he’ll go after any hot button issue. But trying to get into something that’s last week’s news or calling into question the numbers that he pulls out of his @$$ on a regular basis is an exercise in futility.
