What is the best Gerber Folding Sheath knife?
I work on a farm and i need a handy knife to use around during the day, im looking for something with a blade between 3.5 – 4 inches. I have been looking at alot of Gerber knives , such as the Freeman Guide Folder. any suggestions?
Honestly, Gerber knives are on the low end. They do make some decent knives, like the lmf 2, but it is a fixed blade knife. Since you work on a farm, a fixed blade knife might be better because A) it is stronger B) you don’t have to fiddle around with folding and unfolding it, and C) no one will give you a hard time for carrying a fixed blade knife around a farm.
Here are some ideas for a quality folding knife w/ a 3-4 inch blade:

Spyderco Military
Cold Steel AK47
A good choice for a fixed blade knife w/ a 3-4 inch blade is the ESEE Izula 2.
