Suggestions on Machetes or light axes?
I’ve been looking up outdoor tools for chopping trees… I currently own an Ontario Machete, it’s the best i’ve had. I love how it’s heavier, but since i broke my handle i’ve been using cloth to wrap over the metal, and that’s a pain in the ass for me… I also recently bought a Gerber Gator and that was a piece of shit. it was very light and very flimsy. I was wondering if the Cold Steel Trench Hawk would be any good at chopping trees. Any suggestion on a heavier, more reliable tool is welcome.
Cold Steel Magnum Kukri Machete
It is affordable, and after some light work with a stone, the edge is good enough for heavy use,
plus I really love the look and feel of the Kukri style blades
