Handle Double
Aware of any commercially available double-side adhesive tapes or glue able to handle sub-kelvin temperatures?
Sub-kelvin means, below 1K or milli Kelvin range. We work in the 100-300 mK range
Thanks Steve, I also managed to find Kapton Double-sided adhesive tapes which can function at 4K. The issue is that my sample which I ‘stick’ onto my sample holder show not fall off when I go below 4K. But, thanks for your advise!
You want an adhesive that functions at near-absolute zero?
1K = -272.15 degrees C.
I’m not sure such a product currently exists – at those temperatures, elasticity has to drop to nothing, and you’d have a brittleness problem.
That said, I managed to locate an epoxy that (they claim) works at 4K.
