The Reality About Short Sales And The Recession
Hello, I’m Steve Horn with ShortSalesDoneEasy your Paradise valley Short Sale Specialist. How many citizens out there saw the piece of writing titled “The Recession is Over!” It’s fascinating. The editorial says that the recession ended in June 2009. However, if I look at my figures in the Maricopa county real estate market, what a house sold for in June of 2009 vs what a home sold for in June 2010 the recession is not over. There is no data to demonstrate that the recession is over. I want to let you know that we are not out of a depreciating market in the Tempe region. In fact, we are seeing banks make decisions that are making the short sale process more complicated. There are bills being sent through congress that will regulate short sales. That would be nice, but all of this is really just smoke and mirrors.
I’m not an economist. I’m a Ahwatukee Short Sale Realtor. I focus in helping my clients in avoiding foreclosure. It is my duty to give my clients advice on what the best alternative is for them.
I just can not stand the government telling people that we came out of this recession in 2009. Not all areas have been hit like the Queen creek market. However, the Tempe market is absolutely still in a recession.
