Stockman’s Horse Breastplate?
Hey on the stockman’s breastplate, what are the two straps with rings on them used for…..

they come off the centre ring…..i am thinking they go over the reins but what are they really used for ,,,

The reins are threaded through the rings.
The main purpose of the rings is to stop the horse throwing his head in the air. If too tight they can limit your control on the horse.
