Imperial Prov
Is it a real WW2 knife?
Hello, I was wondering if any experts or people who know a lot about WW2 era knives could help me out. It is a fixed blade 10 1/4 inches overall, 4 1/2 blade length, 5 1/4 handle length. The handle appears to be a a single wooden piece carved to fit the blade. The blade itself has the markings

The screws appear to be older in design, possibly brass. The blade itself is incredibly dirty. It appears that the previous owner cleaned it with steel wool, and sharpened it (not such a good job).
The sheith is pretty much destroied but is a dark brown/redish leather.
Could be. The company made knifes for military use during WWII and up to Viet Nam according to the link
