and are there any other brands like these that make knives wenger or victorinox… as in the different tools (pliers, screw wdriver etc.)
hehe thanks…
oh and i do wanna carry it around in my pocket, so im not really looking for a leatherman….
XD
oh, haha… what does the shackle opener and marlin spike do on the skipper??
If you think you’ll need to use the pliers often then it might be worth getting a ‘Leatherman style’ tool. The Victorinox SwissTool Spirit is a great choice, but you could also look at the Leatherman range or even Gerber and SOG tools (only go Gerber if you’re on a very tight budget; they’re not as high quality as Leatherman or Victorinox).
They’re quite different knives; why don’t you take a look at the full Victorinox catalog? They make just about every combination of tools you could ever wish for, and you’ll be able to find the perfect one for you. Link to catalogue below.
Personally I’m not keen on the Wenger tool designs, but there’s no difference in quality; Victorinox owns Wenger.
