i bury my kitchen refuse under my fruit trees in my backyard, is this safe and environmentally wise?

all my wet refuse, bones,veggies cuttings,meal extras so now the garbage collector has only dry things to pick up from me. Is this safe for my fruit trees?

Definitely, if you bury them completely though the soil will absorb all the smell, I bury fish and fish remains in my garden, and never have a problem with smell. Just don’t unearth them, then you might smell something.
