Can other ebay memebers get other member suspended from eBay by false reporting to secure their position?
Recently I was suspended from eBay. I was told it was for shilling, but no evidence was provided to me. I was not shilling. I have been selling collectable knives and was doing very well and had 1024 feedback and 1 negative. I was selling 6,000.00 per month for 1 1/3 years now. I felt like one of the eBay ID’s that sell the same knives may have felt threatened and reported me to get me off eBay asI was not eating into their proffits. Is there any recourse for me to findout who reported me, legally can I get this info?
I wish you lots of luck because this happened to me also. My account had ads posted that I didn’t do but I couldn’t even see what they said because ebay froze my account for shill bidding. I e-mailed and filled out all the contact forms but no real person ever got back to me. It was all automated and the account was reactivated after the suspension period. At that time I changed my password and such.
If you have a credit card on file with this account then you should cancel it or let your bank know. If someone has hacked your account then they might have this information.
The only thing I didn’t try that might work is to file a complaint at the Better Business Bureau. They might be able to get a phone number that will reach an actual person who can help you.
