Knife Elk

how good does a Elk Ridge Camo Upswept Fixed Blade Skinning Knife work for feild dressing a deer?
A drop point knife works much better. The upswept point will tend to catch.
That fancy laser cutout in the blade will fill up with gore.
I prefer a ribbed rubber grip that does not slip when bloody.
That camo blade will get all scratched up during use.
I see that knife is $3.25 on ebay. A good knife cannot be made for that. A knife that cheap is made out of low quality metal and does not have good heat treatment.
It is made to look cool. It is not a good field knife.
