I have Global 22cm carver knife. On blade is printed G37 (no F). Handle is as strongly magnetic as blade.?
The Global catalogue designation for this knife is GF37 Carver, but with the usual Global printing on this blade it is G37 (no F). Could this knife be discontinued by Global in favour of the GF37 range. Or is my knife, G37 (no F), counterfeit?
I am led to believe there should be little or no magnetic in the handles of the larger knives, but may be found in the smaller solid handled Global knives. Is this correct?
Are there any simple tests for authenticity?
