betta fish help please?
my betta fish recently got nipped up badly.. i now have him in a half gallon aquarium.. i want to know which of these fish did it and if it would be safe to put him back into his 30 gallon newly planted aquarium. here are the fish : black ghost knife , african knife , 2 tiger barbs , and a swordtail… please reply answers are greatly apriciated
the tiger barbs most likely were the culprit. Ive had my male betta fish with danios and various tetras and they all get along quite nicely. As far as the rest of your fish they seem to be all mainly peaceful fish, the biggest problem with bettas is their tails are long and flowing and some more aggressive fish view them as worms or other food.
