Peanut Butter in the Jam Jar?

Is it really a crime against humanity to use a peanut buttered knife in the jam jar? Or vice versa?

Not really. I use do that all the time. The only downside is that if you use Jelly on your toast you might get some on the PB mixed with that butter and jelly. but other than that. hey it’s all good.
