Knives Pocket
How can I sharpen my pocket knives?
Ok so I have these 3 pocket knives( none are serrated) and they are pretty dull. I got them from my grandpa for cleaning his attic. I don’t want to go to a store and buy a whet rock. Just stuff from around the house. My dAd can’t know because he doesn’t like it when I am using them. I mean I’m 12, I’ll take care of myself if I get cut. ( which I can cause their dull) so how can I do it? Thanks:)
does you mom have an emery board to do her finger nails with or does dad have sandpaper
gently use that to straighten the edge
not to much – and don’t leave any sanding marks on the blade – if you are then you pushing to hard with the emery board/sandpaper

then go to the cupboard and get a clear glass drinking glass or the side of a glass bottle – not a lumpy one – it has to be smooth
or a leather belt – the under side – and it has to be real leather
swish the blade on the side of the glass/belt to straighten out the filing
this guy is using a car window – but the side of a glass is just fine too
