16 year old singer Justin Bieber has a steadily growing fan base of mainly teenage girls worldwide. The popular website “YouTube” provided the launching pad for the Ontario, Canada native’s career; current manager Scooter Braun came upon a then 13 year-old Bieber’s video posted on the site. Bieber’s talent, as well as the hype and high number of views his YouTube videos generated, caught Braun’s eye. The next step was for Braun to arrange to fly Bieber to Atlanta to record demo tapes.
After singing for singer/songwriter Usher soon after arriving in Atlanta, Bieber was signed to Raymond Braun Media group – the joint venture of Braun and Usher. The intense rise to fame that came after Justin Bieber getting a record deal is quite fantastic, his popular album “My World 2.0” entered at number one on the U.S. Billboard chart, which made Bieber the youngest male solo act to top the chart since Stevie Wonder in 1963. “Baby”, the lead single from Bieber’s debut album became Justin’s biggest hit to date in January 2010, reaching number five in the U.S. and hitting the top ten in seven other countries.
On February 11th, 2011 justin bieber movie movie is scheduled to be released; the 3-D film will follow Bieber on his 2010 tour. Footage of performances from his 2010 concert tour as well as cameo appearances by Miley Cyrus and Shawn Stockman will be featured in the movie “Justin Bieber Never Say Never”. Justin’s acoustic album, “My Worlds Acoustic” debuted at seven this week on the Billboard charts, at the same time his movie is selling out in some theaters.
A special advanced screening of the Justin Bieber movie, showing at select theaters on February 9th, sold 26,000 of an available 100,000 tickets in the first 12 hours of tickets being available.
