What level of NIJ certified protection would I need?
I must out of necessity travel through very bad areas on my way to college and for meetings for the CG Auxiliary where the local criminal element is armed with everything ranging from chrome .25ACP’s , cheap Hi point 9mm’s , .357 magnum’s , stolen police .40S&W’s and on occasion shotguns , rifles and Soviet made Kalashnikov assault rifles. What vest would I need?
