does the mossberg 935 magnum flyway series kick hard?
my dream gun for duck hunting (well, affordable dream gun) is the Mossberg 935 Magnum Flyway Series. I’ve been looking at this gun and as far as i can tell it is a great gun. However, when i was talking to a man behind the gun counter in BPS, he told me that this particular gun “kills out both ends.” If anyone has this gun, Please give me your opinions on the recoil of this gun.
ANY and EVERY 3 1/2 inch 12 ga shell kicks like a mule and hurts unless you have a recoil pad. The only one that is tolerable as stock is the Benelli supernova with the recoil reducer built in. Other than that, get a limbsaver pad for the stock unless you like pain & bruises. If you dont get the gun right in the pocket of your shoulder, you’ll regret it.
With 2 3/4 or 3″ shells, it kicks like every other 12 ga. Hard but generally tolerable.
