How can I wash a medium black North Face denali jacket?
When I bought my jacket online, it came with many tags on it, but it didn’t have any instructions concerning washing the jacket. I even went to the website but couldn’t find any instructions on how to keep it clean.
I agree that there should be a tag with cleaning instructions on it somewhere on the garmet. Look carefully on all the inside seams, starting with the neck area. Since it’s polyester and fleece, you might want to detach the fleece lining, if possible, before attempting to launder it on delicate cycle in cold water. Otherwise,if the lining doesn’t come out, you’ll have to dryclean it to preserve the condition of the fleece. There are special places that allow you to dryclean your own stuff in large machines (called pound cleaning) and it’s cheaper than having it done completely by the cleaners.
Otherwise, you can buy a product in KMart or Walmart that you put in the dryer with the garment and follow the package instructions to get the same results as pound cleaning but in your own home. Sorry i can’t remember the name of this product. My daughter uses it in the States. I’m in Asia.
