Short KA-BAR USA, or Becker Companion?

I have narrowed my search down to these two knives, which would be better? I want the best, all purpose knife, which can do a bit of everything.

The Becker BK-2 is a tank of a knife and as thus would be heavier than the Ka-Bar short.

For camping and outdoor the BK-2 would probably suffice.

I have the Ka-Bar short and compared to the BK-2 is thinner and lighter. I would have no problems bringing the (Ka-Bar) short out camping or outdoors.
