Mini Barrage
HELP! I need a dissertation question! (Construction/Environment)?
My course is a BSc Civil Engineering & Environmental Management, and i need a dissertation question.
My lecturer says is should be aimed towards the environmental side of the degree rather than the eingineering side.
I was thinking tro do the proposal of the Severn Barrage in the UK (as I’m from the UK) but my lecturer has said its a bad idea and that i’ll get a bad mark if i do that because research has already been done on it and there is no actual outcome yet, therefore what i do find out/research will be other peoples work!
What else can I choose? I need to get a mini-dissertation handed in in 13 days, 3000 words! I have no trouble doing the work, its just what to do it on!?!!?!?!!!?

P.S. I quite like the idea of sustainable construction…can’t think of anything though!
discuss the process of obtaining stakeholder approval for a project, perhaps something to do with the Brownfields issue. (what to do with toxic waste sites)
