Miniature Hunter
what should i do? please help

ok, so we used to show miniature horses, but we went into hunter/jumper, but now we all want to go back into minis, and we want to show, breed, and board them to have a business with them again, but the only way we could is if we sold all of our big horses, and i really really dont want to sell them, i have made it so far in jumping and i dont want to quit now, but the thing is, i have an old riding injury that keeps showing up again and again, it’s in my knees, i had to be on crutches 2 times in one year because of this, and the other day i had to back to the doctor about it and they set me up an appointment to go back to the knee specialist at the hospital, and my knee just gives me so much trouble, so i am debating on whether or not we should just do all minis again, i miss showing the minis so much, but i dont want to give up riding, what should i do??

Well, maybe if you have knee injuries go back to the mini’s as a main thing, then have 1-2 hunter/jumpers on the side, so you can still enjoy ‘big” horses, and riding. That’s what seems like your best bet. Do the mini’s as your business, show them, love them, but have a jumper on the side to ride and maybe even show once in a while.
