Movie Straight

Can I burn an avi movie straight to disc using nero7 and will it play on my dvd player?
will it automatically convert or do I have to do it beforehand?
Please only answer if you know for sure or I will be wasting hours of my time
I agree with xeesoft, that is the way that i do it as well and i have never had a problem. in fact i did two yesterday. happy viewing.lol
