My PC freezes when I use the “Search” function in Windows 7? Does it mean my hard drive is scratched?
When I use the “Search function and perform a whole computer scan it half the time will freeze up.
Could my hard drive be scratched?
Or
I am muiti tasking too much while searching?
I do have 1TB of data so I don’t know if that has anything to do with it.
well that start search thingy is indexed search
it only searches in indexed locations, not the entire 1tb of data
u may hav too much indexed data OR ur windows may be corrupt but just reinstall and u be fine
