Pen Knife
Can i bring a small pen knife in my checked in plane luggage ?
Hi Im flying to Kenya this week, i would like to pack a small swiss pen knife in my checked in luggage (so obviously not my in-flight luggage) and wondering if you know or know how i can find out if this is ok to bring??
I have brought a pen-knife to jamaica last summer, but last november when i flew to belfast, my penknife disappeared from my luggage. Will it get x-rayed and removed?

I think you’re fine. they would alert you if they took your knife out, so someone probably stole it…its not uncommon… i brought back a 7inch sharp knife in my checked luggage and i didnt claim it but I got lucky… you should probably claim it and they have you sign stuff, its takes awhile but they check 1 in 4 checked luggage so…
