Cool story plot ideas?
I’m trying to write a new story, called My New Life Philosophy, but I’m having trouble with the plot. It’s about a girl named Isabella, but everybody calls her either Is, Bell, Bella, Issy, Nib, or Nibby. She’s 14. Everybody at her school is weird and falls in a certain category; Cheerleaders, Jocks, Nerds, Athletes, Spelling Bees, etc. But she herself doesn’t fall in any specific category, just plain ‘Weird,’ as everybody says. I don’t know what else to put, but it’s supposed to be very funny, cool, and basically something to set a life philosophy on. Oh, and her life philosophy is this: Live your life right, and everything go the way you plan…..or something like that. I don’t really have a philosophy either, so a good funny one will do, too. Please, help me? No, ‘look around you’ or anything like that. PLEASE?
I reckon the other categories of characters’ interactions can give you lots of material for your main character to deal with. She is going to need some connections to them, like she has been assigned to work in a small group on a project, or she is in the wrong place at the wrong time and gets blamed for something and eventually is found out to be innocent. Sorry I don’t have anything specific. Good luck, sounds promising.
