Pocket Beast

If you were givin 6 players 2 start a NFL team who would it be and why….?
I would go with….
1) Vince Young has that strong arm, mobile, and just flat out is a winner
2) Calvin Johnson great talent and is a beast, could really mould with VY as a great QB WR hook up.
3) Joe Tomas he would really protect VY in the pocket giving him time also would mould with VY
4) Gaines Adams great pass rusher who would get after the QB
5 Jaamal Anderson go great with Gaines Adams on the others side
6) LaRon Landry cant go wrong with a great saftey….
I choose my team real young because i would want 2 win now and later and not have them retire
1. Chris Samuels-Because the best investment that any team could every make is a great Offensive Tackle. I picked him over some of the other O-Lineman like Walter Jones and Jonathon Ogden because he has been durable for most of his career. So he has five to eight more solid years.
2. Julius Peppers-Have you looked at this dude. 6’6″ 280 solid. He can stop the run and rush the QB from inside or outside the tackles. He’s a D tackle, linebacker and D end mixed into this freak of nature. He is super dominant. He’s not the greatest at doing one thing. But he’s the best inside, outside defensive lineman in the game because he does it all very well. Plus he has a great attitude
3. Ladanian Thomlison-A great running, catching, blocking and attitude tailback is irreplaceable. What can I say about LT that hasn’t already been said before. He’s the man.
4. Marvin Harrison- He can rub some of that great work ethic off on the younger players on my New franchise. Plus he’s a great receiver without a bad attitude. A young team can’t handle drama. He didn’t build his career using athletism so I wouldn’t have to worry about his production falling off when he reaches his early to mid 30′s
5. Champ Bailey- A great D back is essential, His experience, athleticism, and great attitude will galvanize a young defense. I love Asanti Samuels and Marcus Trufants youth but Champ has the experience plus he is only 28.
6. Vince Young- For the same reasons as the others. His attitude is great. I love the fact that he accepts challenges. If you tell Vince he can’t do it. He will do everything to prove you wrong. He’s fun, exiting, fearless and positive plus he’s a great athlete. I would follow him if I still played in a heartbeat.
If I had seven picks I would pick Adam Viniteri with that selection.
I picked O-line and D-line 1st and 2nd because very few teams have been great for a long time without a great O-lineman and a dominant D-lineman. ATTITUDE is the key to greatness. All of these guys are true team players. I wouldn’t have to worry about drama and sideshows with these guys.
