Pocket Hunting
Do you need a concealed weapons license to carry a knife in Pennsylvania?

Not just a pocket knife, but a large hunting-style knife. Also, I’m talking about carrying it on the street, not while hunting.

I’m not a psychopath; I’m just wondering.

There is no such thing as a concealed weapon permit for carrying a knife in ANY state, including Pennsylvania. Concealed Weapons Permits are issued solely for carrying a handgun concealed. As far as the carrying of a knife in public, even a large hunting knife, there is no logical reason for anyone to be carrying such a knife on the public streets. You should call your local Police Dept or Sheriff’s Dept to see what is legal in your area. I would highly recommend you don’t attempt this. Legal or not you will draw a lot of attention from the local Police if you are carrying one as you described.
