How often should I handle my Red Tail Boa?
Have had him a few weeks now he seemed to adjust to his new home ok, He’s about 2-3 years old and about 8 feet long. I’m not much of a snake expert but I’ve had a few smaller snakes but never on this big. I was just wondering how often should I handle him?
Well first off it sounds like your Red Tail is older than 2-3 years if it is already 8ft in length. I own two Red Tails a 3ft 1 year old male and a 5ft 3 year old female. I would encourage handling them as much as you please i take out all my snakes daily to keep them calm and docile and to give them exercise, Red Tails are fun snakes to handle and seem to really enjoy being handled.
