Who is Legaly to blame for the following Scenario?
A learner riding a 125cc motorcycle aproaches traffic lights at around 20 miles an hour, lights go to amber (1flash) then red when the rider is around 5 metres from it, rider slams on the brakes, the driver behind doesnt spot this or the lights changing and hits the motorcycle!
Thanks to everyone thats answered so far, thats just what I wanted to hear as I was the one on the motorcycle.
This happened in Belfast so I presume the law will be the same as in the rest of Ireland or the UK
car driver who should be severely thrashed with a spiky branch
