Why do people on ‘answers’ keep saying Steve Rider knows nothing about F1 and is an ITV man?
Weird considering he was hosting the show on BBV as far back as the Senna era…
Quite correct, that’s why I haven’t bothered with all the Ryder-bashing questions in here during the last few months.
He knows a lot about F1 and loves the sport, he even considered quitting the BBC when ITV won the F1 rights to go and do the Jim Rosenthal job from the start. He would have been the permanent face of F1 for several years already if the lead job on Grandstand hadn’t come up at the same time.
