can i treat my electric yellow cichlid with table salt?
my goldfish has white spots.. and i want to cure it with table salt.. but my yellow cichlid is in the aquarium too.. should i do it? first time fish care

1. Goldfish and cichlids cannot be housed together. One is a tropical aggressive fish and the other is a community coldwater fish.
2. Table salt has iodide in it and will kill both of your fish.
3. Separate the goldfish into a 75 gallon aquarium if it’s a common type or a 30 if it’s a fancy type and put that cichlid in a 30-40 gallon aquarium with heater
4. Use quick cure or AQUARIUM salt
