Series Folder

Have you seen this message? ‘junk email messages are automatically moved to the junk email folder for your safety’
Have you ever wonder what in the world has happened to your response rates lately. Is the market “saturated” with your program or product? Are people simply no longer buying online? Your method for promotion is no longer popular i.e. :email marketing” – The worst to come you discovered more mails are undelivered. (If you are buying lead, you may think that you’ve been cheated).
In most cases, the answer to the above questions is a resounding NO! In today’s world of unsolicited email and spam laws, most email clients now have spam filters installed. These filters catch spam email and either move it to a ‘spam folder’ or automatically delete it. It means that your message landed in bulk folders instead of landing in your prospects inboxes. Most of the time it’s in the content of your message and the like.
It is estimated that between 40-70% of ALL email is getting zapped BEFORE anyone ever has a chance to read it. Notice that I said ALL,. Not just the viagra and enhancement spam that is clogging your inbox every day (I get at least 50+ of these ads every day
You should know further about proper structuring of your message as well as content assessment to avoid getting flagged as spam. Otherwise, after spending a great deal of time labouring over your series of autoresponder messages, it would be a shame to find out that the majority of the messages that are sent out end up in the spam or junk folder, or are automatically deleted as spam! Is your message zap-proof? Therefore, it is extremely important to avoid spam-type messages while creating your Autoresponder messages for your online business. You have to ensure your Autoresponders don’t get diverted to an early grave. There are several webs based and free to use spam checker offers a free service that will spam-filter check your messages. You just send each of your emails to them, and they score it against the known spam filters. You can then rework your email to keep it from triggering the filters.
Following are some tips on beating spam filters : -
- Do Not and Never begin your subject line with the word “advertisement“.
- Avoid using all Caps in the Subject line and strange characters like “@#>” and common marketing phrases.
- Do Not state “this e-mail sent in compliance with…”
- Never use the word “free” in the subject line—especially in all caps.
- In fact, Never use the word FREE (in all caps) anywhere in the message
- When you set up your web site and associated e-mail accounts, do not name any account sales@yourdomainname.com – this guarantees you an automatic trip to the bulk folder.
- Within the message: Never say “for free?” or “for free!” or use the words “extra income” in the body of your message. Recently, many internet marketers attempting to bypass spam filters have begun breaking up the word “free” anywhere it appears in their sales copy: f-ree or fr.ee are the most commonly usedmethods.
Alternatively, you can also apply this method – that is when anyone signs up to receive information from your autoresponder, have them automatically redirected to a page that gives them instructions for ‘white listing’ you. Email clients have an actual white list where the owner of the email client can add specific addresses that should never be considered spam.
Almost all of the large ISP’s and email services use spam filters and classify an email as spam based on the number of “trigger words” they find in your email. That would certainly include words like “viagra” and “enhancement.”
Unfortunately, spam filters hurt legitimate marketers, not just the spammers they are targeted at. That means that any time you use email for marketing, you must be very sure that what you are sending doesn’t trigger these spam filters.
