Serrated Red

Do all varieties of poison ivy and poison oak have serrated leaves?
I’ve been looking at pictures and the notched leaves seems to be a common characteristic. It looks liks poison ivy typically has 3-5 notches. Is that right? Also, I have a very small, weed with 3 leaves in the grass and I’m afraid it may be poison ivy. The leaves are only about an inch long, they are creeping along the grass next to an azalea. All three leaves are uniform in size with several, even notches along the borderes of the leaves. The notches surround the entire leaf, not like the ones seen typically with poison ivy. There is no red stem and the leaves are not shiny in color. I live in Maryland if that helps.
Poison ivy does not usually survive in maintained lawns.
Chances are that whatever plant you have there is something else.
