I want to sell a slightly used travel system, how much should I ask for it?
I HAVE A TRAVEL SYSTEM THAT INCLUDES-CARSEAT, BASE, AND STROLLER, WHICH I PAID $170 FOR AND HAS BEEN BARELY USED. THE ONLY PROBLEM WITH IT IS SOME OF THE PADDING ON THE STROLLER HANDLE MELTED(BARELY NOTICABLE). WHAT PRICE SHOULD I ASK FOR?
honestly since it has been used you may have problems selling the car seat to someone who doesnt know the history of the seat.
You may end up only getting 50 for it. I had a instep jogging stroller I paid 150 for it brand new and was used maybe a total of 10 times and I sold it for a whole whopping 40 bucks.
You can see what people are selling them for on Ebay used and get a general Idea. It is hard to say how much with out knowing what brand and what style you have. I know Graco is safer than most other seats so it may sell easier for you.
And as for selling it. How are you selling it. In a paper or yard sale or online. A yard sale you will get the nitty griddy low ball price but the paper you may get 100 if you are lucky!
