They are “amphibious” animals and the ignorant don’t realize that the bear is dying out because there is no more ice floes large enough for the creature to utilize for their food hunting. Their weight has been reduced in the last five decades in increments as well as their size. Their offspring are smaller in size and numbers as well. This is due the climate change in the northern region of my country. From Churchill Manitoba to the northern tip of Ellesmere Island the warmth has changed the habitats of these magnificent beast dramatically.
I remember more than twelve years ago a school in northern Manitoba collapsed. The Inuit were stunned because the building collapsed for lack of cold. The permafrost that held the building “thawed”!!!!! It thawed! The inuit had never seen that so far north in all their existence on planet earth and it was evident then!
So …. It doesn’t matter if we kill the bear to skin or eat; it’s going to die. It is going to die because we need our toilet paper to wipe our crappy bums, we insist on plastic water bottles to hold our spring water, we want more plastics for every reason. We want our computers, we want our i-pads, our cell phones, our telephones, our televisions, our prepackaged foods, our rubber tires, our malls, our daily newspapers, our magazines, our modern luxuries that have grown more and more for the last one hundred to two hundred years!
Right now it takes oil: literally billions upon billions of oil to maintain the lifestyle we are living and the Polar Bear is eventually going to die because the byproduct of our requirements is a dangerous atmosphere we currently live in.
So …. you ready to go back to the caves and wipe your bum with your hands or leaves? Or are you ready to accept the inevitable?
The loss of major lifeforms on planet earth is happening now, and will continue until the permanent return of the Lord.
