is it safe to use plain steel rectangular tubes in a car frame?
i want to build a car frame. is it safe to use the above mentioned steel? it isn’t any special kind of steel.
While the first answers are valid, the fact you have to ask the question bothers me – if you can’t answer this question, how are you qualified to design and build a safe car frame? In particular, can you design one that having gotten on the road or race track will not bend, making the steering impossible so you crash into another car or people beside the roadway?
