Stockman Knife
maintenance for a slipjoint knife?

I recently began collecting stockman pattern knives from various manufacturers. I rotate each one of them in and out of daily rotation, and use them for everything form cutting boxes open and cutting up fruit at lunch, to cleaning fish and small game while camping and such..I’m not concerned with rust, but more in how to preserve the longevity of the action, or the inner workinngs of the knife…Thanks.

i use a mixture of 30 wt.non-detergent motor oil mixed with Teflon based oil ,{ slick 50,dura lube, etc..} 50/50 mix, worked very well into the spring area ,by moving the blade open/closing till it works in good ,clean off the excess, and repeat several times,it will coat the moving parts, and keep the wear down
